Every Subaru is equipped with specific air filters. The engine air filter (for gasoline-powered vehicles) helps prevent dirt, leaves, and other debris from harming internal parts. The cabin air filter(s) will help trap dust, allergens, and more when using the heat, defrost, or air conditioning. It’s important to have all filters replaced at their factory-recommended service intervals for optimal performance and benefits.
